Daybreak came to wake the side of the world it had intended. The sunlight made the mildew glisten with a golden radiance on the no vacanted plants.
Zephyre awoke from the light that pulled her eyes open and rubbed them. She then reached over to attempt to wake up Atalya. "Come on, Atalya, wake up."
"Noooo..." she groaned. "I wanna sleep some more..."
"Atalya, we're almost to Spectrum. We'll be able to get some breakfast there-"
Atalya dashed up like daisy on a spring day. "Well, whaddaya waiting for?"
Zephyre hit the ground...leaving a considerable sized ditch.

It was around late morning when Atalya and Zephyre heard a scream, a girl's scream.
"Someone's in trouble!" Atalya announced.
"Oh my, whatever shall we do?" Zephyre replied bluntly.
"We're going to HELP!!!"
"Great..."
"Oh come on, Zeph. Put a little more spirit into it!!!"
"*Sigh*" -_-*
At the scene of the crime...
(Lady screams)
"Shuddup, lady!" demands the gruff-looking bandit. "We only want to steal your stuff."
"Yeah," replied the gangly-looking comrade of the bandit, "steal your stuff."
Just as the gruff-looking one goes to grab the women, they stopped when they heard a voice. "Hold it right there you evil harassers!"
"B-B-B-Boss? What was that?!"
"Probably some kids...now put a sock in it, will ya?"
"But Boss-"
"SHUDDUP!"
"I SAID, HOLD IT!!!!"
The bandits look over to see Atalya standing on the edge of a ten-foot cliff, in a wannabe-Amelia pose. "Alright, you evil harassers! It's time for you to feel the wrath of...GIRL POWER!!!"
bandits- -_-*"She's almost as bad as that princess and her father from Seyruun!"
"How dare you take advantage of a poor, defenseless woman! For not surrendering, you shall feel the unmistakable power of a-" *crack, crack* Part of the cliff broke off, followed by Atalya. "This wasn't supposed to happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!" She fell flat on her face and muffled something else out. "Ouch. That hurt *tears form, but she gets right back up like she's fine*" Bandits- ._.*
"Hey kid. Why don't you just mosey yourself onto the next candy shop, huh?"
*Wannabe-Amelia pose* "Sorry sir, but when there are hopeless and heartless people out there, *cough*suchasyourselves*cough* thinking they can take advantage of women, someone must take a stand! And that someone is ME, Atalya Chastity-Faye Elysia!!!"
Bandits fall over very hard.
"Polar Pierce!" Atalya yelled as she held up her finger. A white energy came from her finger abnormally slow and formed into a ball. Then it exploded in her face, and it became a nice grey-charcoal.
The bandits started to roll around after the incident, not even TRYING to contain their laughter. "This girl's a riot!" said the gruff-looking one. "She's WAY loonier than that Seyruun princess!"
Atalya growled. "That's IT!!! DIL BRANDO!" A nice energy burst erupted from the ground, letting the bandits fly away, but not without burnt edges. They hit the ground with a thud. Once they regained their composure...glares were planted on their faces, and directed at Atalya.
Atalya-o_o* "Gee, uh, those are some pretty big swords ya got there. I'm sure buttering rolls aren't a problem for you guys-OH! Look at the time! I almost forgot...I've got to meet somebody in town...SEE YA!" Atalya dashed off, in a hurry. The bandits quickly pursued after her, with nice, shiny swords.

"Pssst! Hey Lina! Lina! Awww geez, can't you wake up? You snore kinda loud, for being a flat-chested runt." Gourry said.
'Ooh...can this guy get any dumber? When are you gonna get a clue, Gourry?' Lina thought spitefully. 'Guys...they always find what you're most sensitive about...' she thought, as she made her way out the inn bedroom door. "What do you want NOW, shit-for brains?" Lina said, as she walked towards Gourry.
"I'll take that as the compliment it was intended to be..." Gourry sniffed.
"That's unusually sharp for you...what's you do? Find a thesaurus?"
"No...I used the saurus of Webster. Ha! I'm smarter than you think."
"What? Stupid Jellyfish..." Lina groaned. They finish eating and walk outside.
"Hey look at that!" Gourry said.
"What...?" Lina said turning around.
"That two girl's are fighting some bandits!" Gourry said.
"Hmmm..." said Lina, recognizing the flowing white robes of the sorceresses. "A Samite healer...? I thought they only used White magic...?"
"Huh...?" Gourry said. "What might Sam do?" he asked, dumbfounded. Lina sweatdropped, pulled it down off of her head and whacked Gourry across the face with it. "I don't know about 'Sam', but you, can kiss my ass! You've shown me something today...that appearances can be deceiving...you're MUCH more stupid than you look!"
"Oh yeah? Well, I may not be smart, but I bet those 'girls that Sam might feel', have bigger chests than you do!" Gourry yelled.
"Again, Gourry, SHOUTING MAKES YOU SOUND SMARTER. TRY IT." Lina sighed.
"Whatever. Just tell me what the deal is."
"Fine." Lina agreed. "They're from the order of Samite, a kind of church group, which has a temple not too far from here."
"Yeah" Gourry said, "but I don't think it's close enough..." he was drooling, staring at the girl.
"Ugh! Anyway, they're white magic users...and they're really good, too...they put Sylphiel and Amelia to shame. I hear that they've been researching new spells, one of which is a shamanist-spirit spell, that's as strong as the Dragon Slave, but not nearly as destructive." Lina said.
"D-D-D-Dragon Slave?!" Gourry stammered.
"Duh-duh, Duh-duh, did I stutter?" Lina mocked. "Well, I still wanna talk to her...she looks better, and probably eats nicer than you, Lina." Lina kicked him in the behind, and he turns into a jellyfish.
"Stupid Jellyfish! I'm going back to bed..."
"But Lina," Gourry beckoned while floating. "She doesn't look like she can handle them very well. Shouldn't we keep an eye on her at least?"
Lina sighed in defeat. "I guess. But I'm only going so YOU don't get yourself in trouble...AND GET OUT OF THAT STUPID COSTUME!!!"
* * * ...Ashi...
Atalya was at the end of her rope, her ladder, baked her last cookie, all dressed up and no place to go...and all the other cliches I don't feel like naming at the moment. She'd come to a dead end 'cliff hangar.'
"Where ya going to go now, girlie?" said the gruff one.
"Yeah! Gonna go now?"
Atalya eeped. She told Zephyre she would meet her in town, since Zephyre didn't feel like going through another 'episode of the twilight zone,' whatever that was supposed to mean..."I knew I should've ignored this one-"
"You're damn right!" The gruff one continued. "Now we'll kill you for attacking us!"
"Yeah! For attacking us!"
~Behind a building...~
Lina and Gourry watched in concealment. "Should we do something Lina?" Gourry asked bravely.
Lina hit him for the fourth(?) time that day. "Are you nuts?! I've dealt with enough bandits and bounty hunters when we were on reward posters from Zangalus and Vrummugun, and I don't need to get myself involved in more just to save someone's puny ass."
"You mean we were famous?!" Gourry asked in surprise. *Gourry gets hit numerous times* Gourry- T_T
"No, you idiot! We were on wanted posters! People wanted us DEAD! Anyway, why do all the work in kicking the bandits fannies when we have someone doing it for us...then we can get the money..."
"But isn't stealing wrong, Lina?"
Lina- >_<# "OH! Just forget what I said and follow me when I tell you to!"

Below Atalya's feet, a crack began (she's having the worst luck with cliff's today, yes?). After a while, it couldn't hold her...and she could feel the earth move form under her. Atalya's scream was heard, it faded as she went down, further and further, until she stopped, and the word "GRAVITATION!" was heard. The bandits looked over the edge to see Zephyre bringing Atalya up by some kind of flying spell. (Lina- o_O "Gravitation?")
Once Atalya was safely put on the ground, she started to run her mouth. "You're in trouble now!" Atalya stated childishly.
"Oh my god, Atalya. If you are going to challenge somebody, make sure you can handle it, first," Zephyre clearly wasn't in the mood for this.
"Well then, how about you try to beat us?" the gruff bandit seemed a bit too sure for his own good.
"What a moronic bunch of-" Zephyre couldn't finish her insult because the bandits took their first swipe. She dodged to the side and Gamma Sphere-d the area they lied in. A huge explosion followed and the bandits were blown sky high and far away.
Lina scurried away from her hiding place, with Gourry following blindly. "Hey! I saw what happened, are you guys all right?" Yeah, like are you all right enough to show me that spell?
"We're fine," Atalya answered for the both of them. Zephyre looked a bit skeptical of her question. Like she wanted something...
"I was wondering..." Lina started, "those spells you used-"
